Why was jerry springer the opera so controversial?

A) Because it poked fun out of religions. I supportrd the BBC's right to show it, and still think they were right. But I didn't like the opera much so turned it off mid way through, I wasn't offended (I'm agnostic) but it didn't seem very funny to me.

A) I didn't know he had an opera! People find offense in almost everything, so just ignore it. If you enjoyed it that's all that matters.

A) Jerry Springer is a piece of crap. His show is highly over rated. It is the most ignorant junk ever put on tv. You have to be a first class dirt bag just to watch that stuff. The difference between Springer and Operah is that Springer is just a white turd with a garbage show, and Operah is a black rich woman who got rich fooling idiots who watch her show and buy into all the hype.

All religion is evil - response?

Q) The point i am trying make is that religion seems far more concerened with making other people believe what they believe rather than actually helping people that need it. Rather than having organised religion and prey meetings why not use that time to help people in the community. Only without god clouding our minds are we free to live our lives. If people weren't so concerned about converting people or shouting that there religion is right we would all live together much happier. We could use our time for good and importnat things. Instead of standing outside a jerry springer opera or marching about cartoons why not use that energy and time to actually help people that need it. Rather than spend sundays knocking on peoples doors to try and convert them why not work with needy children. Not until god has left us will we be truely free. Does anyone else agree with this???
